Defense Sec. Lloyd Austin should resign after calling US Evacuations Heroic and Historic

Frank
America finally left Afghanistan after 20 years. Defense Sec Lloyd Austin said about that: “We have just concluded the largest air evacuation of civilians in American history. It was heroic. It was historic." But when you think about it, it was terrible, and it was cowardice. America lost 13 service members and reportedly left behind some Americans after it concluded it's last evacuation flight. Not to mention all the equipment and weaponry that we left behind that is now in the hands of the Taliban. That gear was likely meant to be used by the Afghan military, but they couldn't even stand up to the Taliban and they seemed like they refused to fight for their own country. Now the Taliban has taken over much of Afghanistan as America pulls out. This might have been historic, but there was nothing heroic about it. America got bullied by a bunch of guys running around in flip flops. America let the Taliban draw a "red line" on the August 31st deadline and Joe Biden wouldn't budge on it
