Mo Brooks slams Jan 6 Select Committee over demands, says there's 'No Probable Cause'

A Select Committee wants to investigate phone records in regards to the incident at the Capitol on January 6. There was already an FBI investigation that said there was scant evidence of any big plot to storm the Capitol and take people hostage, but that wasn't good enough for Democrats.

Now they want phone records and Mo Brooks slams the committee, saying there's no probable cause for this. Brooks said on Twitter: "Socialists & “Pelosi Republicans” (Cheney & Kinzinger) seek my phone records? Three results: 1 Total waste of taxpayer money. 2 Boredom for who looks at my records. 3 Russian Collusion Hoax 2.0. Why not subpoena Socialists who support BLM & ANTIFA?"

About the request, AL reported: "The House committee investigating the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol is asking social media and telecommunications companies to preserve phone or computer records for hundreds of people who were potentially involved with efforts to “challenge, delay or interfere” with the certification that day of President Joe Biden’s victory or otherwise try to overturn the results of the 2020 election."
